Man Injured In Northeast D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred late yesterday afternoon in the Northeast section.

Police arrived at the 500 block of 51st Street shortly before 6 pm to investigate a report of a shooting. There, police found an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where his condition is unknown at this time.

Nearby surveillance cameras captured a vehicle of interest. The vehicle is described by police as a “white Mercedes “C Class,” four-door with no front license plate.”
