12-year-old reported missing in the Bronx

NEW YORK, NY – A 12-year-old boy in the Bronx has not been seen by his family since leaving his home or school at 7:30 am on Thursday. Now, police are asking the community to assist in locating Maurice Brown, 12.

Brown left his Bouck Avenue home Thursday morning on his way to school at Pelham Gardens School.

Detectives with the NYPD’s 49th Precinct said he did attend school but did not return home. He is described as a 4’1″ tall, 90 pounds, with a dark complexion, thin build, brown eyes, and black hair.

He was last seen wearing a white polo shirt with the school logo on the front, a light-colored pullover sweater, a black Adidas jacket, tan pants and black & blue Jordan sneakers.
