15-Year-Old Female Critically Injured In Baltimore Shooting Outside School

BALTIMORE, MD – Police are investigating the shooting of a girl outside a Baltimore school. On Wednesday evening, a female teen was shot in North Baltimore, Maryland.

The Baltimore Police Department was alerted to an armed person at a nearby school by a witness shortly after 6 p.m.

As a result of the call, police located the female victim suffering from a gunshot wound outside Walter P. Carter Elementary/Middle School in the 800 Block of East 43rd Street. After stabilizing the victim at the scene, he was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

It is reported that the victim has undergone surgery and is in a critical but stable condition. The 15-year-old is a freshman at Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School.
