33-year-old man shot and killed in Millville

MILLVILLE, NJ – A 33-year-old man was shot and killed Friday night in Millville. The Millville Police Department identified Lamont Jones, Jr. after officers found the Bridgeton man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.

At around 10:30 pm, officers responded to a shots fired 911 call in the area of 4th and E Street in Millville.

Jones was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Cooper Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

At this time, no arrests have been made, and no suspects have been identified.
