Little Ferry Police rescue man from knife-wielding woman inside hotel room

LITTLE FERRY, NJ – A man being held against his will by a knife-wielding woman at a motel in Little Ferry was freed by police.

According to police, 31-year-old Desarey Victoria Hutchinson was arrested after she held the 35-year-old victim at knifepoint inside the room. When police arrived, the victim was covered in lotion, according to Chief of Police James Walters.

It is not known what the victim’s relationship to Hutchinson is at this time, but the man claimed he was being held against his will and attempted to leave.

He was able to call 911 before Hutchinson.

She confessed to holding him in the room against his will and was charged with false imprisonment and hindering apprehension.
