Police investigating weekend shooting in Severn

SEVERN, MD – Police in Severn are investigating after multiple suspects were involved in a shooting incident in a parking lot near Meade Village Circle and Hollow Court.

According to police, on Saturday, at around 2:45 pm, officers responded to a report of shots being fired. A 911 caller indicated that approximately four to six black males, who were wearing all black, were running around the parking lot.

“The caller advised that at least one of the males was armed with a handgun,” police said.

An investigation revealed several spent shell casings in the 1700 and 1800 blocks of Meade Village Circle.

Police said there was no report of injuries or property damage during the shooting.
