Manhattan synagogue targeted with pro-Palestinian graffiti

NEW YORK, NY – A lower Manhattan synagogue was targeted recently by anti-Israeli graffiti, leading police with the city’s 1st Police Precinct to open a hate-crime investigation in to the matter.

According to the NYPD Hate Crime Task Force, on Thursday, February 2, an unidentified individual approached a mobile Mitzvah Tank Synagogue at 575 Broadway shortly after 4pm.

The suspect graffitied the word “PALESTINE” on the exterior of a synagogue vehicle. The suspsect then fled into the subway system.

Police are asking the public to assist in identifying the suspect.
