Firefighters battle four-alarm fire in Brooklyn

NEW YORK, NY – Police and fire units are on the scene of a four-alarm fire at a building in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn.

Upon arrival, firefighters noted that the inside of the building was extremely cluttered, making the operation more difficult. The incident was reported at 10:54 am near the intersection of Hewes Street and Broadway.

The fire appears to have started in the lower commercial space of the multistory building. No injuries were reported.
