Police find man who shot woman during domestic dispute with gun in emergency room

BALTIMORE, MD – A man wanted for the shooting of a 32-year-old woman during a domestic dispute at a home on Herndon Street Tuesday afternoon was arrested by police later in the day.

Police responded to the hospital where the woman was being treated after being notified of the shooting earlier. An investigation revealed the woman was shot during a domestic dispute with an adult male.

When police arrived at the hospital to check on the woman, they noticed the suspect, 42-year-old Ricardo Clarke was sitting on a bench outside the hospital emergency room. Police apprehended Clarke and recovered the gun used during the shooting.

He was charged with first degree murder and several gun related charges.

The woman is recovering in stable condition with a gunshot wound to her right arm.
