74-year-old man arrested for slashing tires of NYPD vehicles in NYC

NEW YORK, NY – A 74-year-old man has been arrested and charged with criminal mischief for slashing the tires of multiple police vehicles outside the NYPD’s 112th Precinct stationhouse in Queens this weekend.

Police have arrested 74-year-old Jose Patino of Brooklyn.

It was reported on Sunday that a man slashed the tires of seven police vehicles outside the 12th Precinct Stationhouse at 68-40 Austin Street in Queens Friday morning.

According to police, at around 7 am, an unknown male approached seven NYPD vehicles parked near the 112 Precinct stationhouse and punctured the vehicle’s tires.

The suspect fled the scene in a beige SUV heading westbound on Yellowstone Avenue.
