Brazil’s jobless rate drops to 7.9 pct in quarter through December

RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) – Brazil’s jobless rate fell to 7.9 percent in the three months through December, statistics agency IBGE said on Tuesday, below market expectations.

The median forecast in a Reuters poll projected an unemployment rate of 8.0 percent.
