TRENTON, NJ – When it comes to choosing the next Republican nominee for President of the United States, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is not even a blip on the radar. The boisterous former firebrand who now works as a contributor for ABC news has his eyes set on the White House, but few in New Jersey and even fewer nationwide have their eyes set on him.

Christie failed to register on a recent Fox News where pollsters read a list of potential candidates, including Christie, last week.

According to the poll, 43% chose former President Donald J. Tru mp. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis received 28% of the votes. Nikki Haley and Mike Pence each received 7% and most other candidates received between 1 and 2%.

Christie, along with former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, Chris Sununu, Ava Hutchinson and Francis Suarez all polled near 0%.

Christie was defeated by Other (1%), None of the above (1%) and Don’t know (3%).
