Man shot while riding dirt bike in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened early yesterday morning in Western Baltimore.

At 1:30 am, police arrived at the 500 block of Payson Street to investigate a shooting report. Officers found a 22-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his hand The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The preliminary investigation concluded that the victim was shot while riding his dirt bike in the area of North Calhoun Street. There was no apparent crime scene at that location.
