New York City firefighter charged for DWI

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department reported the arrest of a New York City Firefighter on the Upper East Side of Manhattan early Thursday morning.

Police with the city’s 23rd Precinct reported FDNY Firefighter Jermaine Martin, 45, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired by alcohol and refusal to take a breathalyzer test.

The NYPD did not release any information specific to the allegations against Martin.
