13-year-old girl reported missing in the Bronx

NEW YORK, NY – A 13-year-old girl has been reported missing by her family and detectives with the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.

According to the New York City Police Department, 13-year-old Maylin Towns was last seen at her Morris Avenue home on Wednesday at around 4 pm.

On Friday, police issued a missing person alert.

Maylin was described by police as a female Hispanic with light complexion, medium build, approximately 5’ 4″ in height, 130 pounds, and shoulder-length golden blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a black coat and white sneakers.
