Bronx deli robbed at gunpoint early Sunday morning

NEW YORK, NY – Detectives with the city’s 44th Precinct are investigating an armed robbery at a deli in the Bronx overnight.

According to police, at around 1:15 pm, three unknown male suspects entered the Karam Convenience Deli on Jerome Avenue. One of the suspects pulled a gun and pointed it at a deli employee.

A second suspect went behind the counter and removed money from the cash register and took unknown merchandise. The suspects then fled the scene heading south on Jerome Avenue.

Nobody was injured as a result of the robbery. At this time, no arrests have been made.
