Man shot 70 times on front porch of home in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Investigators continue to process evidence after a Philadelphia man was shot over 70 times on the porch of a home in Upper North Philadelphia.

Police said the shooting at the home in the 3400 block of 16th Street in the Tioga neighborhood occurred shortly before midnight on Saturday. Shell casings indicate the murder suspect was at close range during the attack when multiple casings were found on the porch near the man’s body.

The man’s identity was not released. At this time, police have not identified any suspects. No arrests have been made.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
