New York City FDNY EMT arrested for criminal possession of a weapon

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department has announced the arrest of a 23-year-old member of the FDNY EMS.

Jamal Smith was arrested on Sunday at around 4 am by officers from the city’s 30th Precinct in Upper Manhattan.

He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, aggravated unlicensed operator and suspended registration. Police did not provide any further details regarding Smith’s arrest.
