Three women wanted for strong-armed mugging of Bronx teen

NEW YORK, NY – Detectives with the city’s 44th Precinct are searching for three women involved in a strong-armed robbery of an 18-year-old in the Bronx in February.

On Sunday, the NYPD released photos of the three women who assaulted and robbed the man of his cell phone inside 1183 Gerard Avenue.

On Wednesday, February 15, at around 11 pm, the three unidentified women approached an 18-year-old male victim inside the building and began to punch and kick him.

“The individuals forcibly removed the victim’s cell phone before the victim was able to flee the location. The victim sought treatment at the Hospital for a contusion to his face,” the NYPD reported.

Detectives say one suspect is a female, approximately 35 years old. The other two women are approximately 18 years old.

Police are asking the public to assist in identifying the three suspects.
