21-year-old survives shooting in Passaic

PASSAIC, NEW JERSEY – Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Chief Luis A. Guzman announced a shooting that occurred in the area of 24 Martha Place in Passaic, New Jersey, on March 12.

At approximately 10:35 p.m., members of the Passaic Police Department responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located a potential crime scene and a 21-year-old male Passaic resident suffering from non-fatal gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately given aid and transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, for treatment.

The investigation remains active and ongoing, with more information to be released as it becomes available.
