Police searching for fugitive wanted for murder of Columbus woman

COLUMBUS, OH – Murder and felonious assault charges have been filed against 30-year-old Erich Barbee II, wanted in connection with a shooting that left one woman dead and another injured.

This Thursday, Columbus Police officers were called to the 100 block of Rodgers Avenue on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found 44-year-old Marissa Saultz, who died from apparent gunshot wounds. A second woman suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation.
