Glen Burnie woman beaten and carjacked

GLEN BURNIE, MD – On Saturday, Anne Arundel County Police responded to a carjacking in the 100 block of Crain Highway in Glen Burnie. The victim stated that two black males opened her car door and demanded her car keys. When the victim refused, she was assaulted and physically pulled from her vehicle. The suspects then drove away in the 2015 Kia sedan.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and Northern District detectives are investigating the incident. Anyone with information related to the carjacking is asked to call (410) 222-6135 or the Anne Arundel County Police Tip Linie (410) 222-4700.

U.S. Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero stated, “We take all carjacking cases seriously and our office is committed to vigorously investigate and prosecute those responsible. We urge anyone with information related to this incident to contact the police.”
