Juveniles Arrested in Mays Landing Gun Incident

MAYS LANDING, NJ – On Saturday, two 16-year-old males were arrested after they allegedly chased a group of disorderly juveniles with stolen handguns. Hamilton Township Police responded to the 3000 block of Ivybush Court, where shots were reportedly fired but no injuries occurred.

After a brief foot pursuit, officers apprehended the suspects and recovered the weapons. Both suspects were charged with multiple offenses, including aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon, and were lodged in Harborfields Atlantic Youth Center.

A 13-year-old female was also charged with simple assault and released.
