Police investigating armed robbery in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, MD – Detectives with the Anne Arundel County Police Department are investigating an armed robbery that took place Wednesday night in Glen Burnie.

According to police, at 9:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery that had just occurred in the 400 block of Secret Bend in Glen Burnie.

Police said a black male suspect approached the victim as they were leaving the building. The suspect grabbed the victim and pushed a black handgun into their midsection.

The suspect demanded money. After grabbing the victim’s pocket, the suspect removed his wallet. He then fled towards Hidden Brook Road on foot.

Police described the suspect as a black male in his 40s, tall, medium build, last seen wearing all black clothing and a black ski mask.
