16-Year-Old Dead In D.C. Double Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating the shooting of two juveniles that happened Tuesday night in Southeast D.C. One of the victims did not survive, and the other was critically injured.

Shortly after 9 pm, officers arrived at the 2200 Block of Alabama Avenue to investigate a shooting report. At the location, police discovered two juveniles lying in the roadway. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other was taken to a nearby hospital and is in critical condition.

16-year-old Traev’on Green, of D.C., was identified as the victim.
