D.C. police seek suspect in double shooting of two teens

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Police in Washington, D.C. have released a photo of a suspect wanted for shooting two teenagers last weekend.

The shooting occurred at around 5:35 pm on Sunday in the 900 block of Varney Place, Southeast.

“At approximately 5:35 pm, Seventh District officers responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located two juvenile male shooting victims,” the DC Metro Police Department said in a statement. “DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victims to area hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.”

The suspect remains at large.
