Man Shot And Killed in Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A shooting just after midnight this morning left an unidentified man dead. The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating the shooting.

At approximately 12:30 am, officers arrived at Anacostia Road in Southeast D.C. to investigate a shooting report. At the location, police found the victim suffering from a single gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not released the victim’s identity, and the exact crime scene has not been established.
