Police investigating midtown subway groping incident

NEW YORK, NY – Detectives with the NYPD’s 13th Precicnt are investigating a subway groping incident.

On Thursday, a 35-year-old woman was groped while walking up the stairs at the 28th Street subway station in Manhattan.

The woman reported to police that an unknown male suspect approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks. He then fled on foot down 28th Street.

The woman was not physically injured during the incident. Police have released a photo of the suspect and are asking the public to assist in identifying him.
