Three Suspects Charged in Kidnapping and Murder of Newark Man

NEWARK, NJ – The New Jersey State Police have charged Mustafa Manns, 28, William Dixon, 24, and Nishir Rios-Figueroa, 30, all of Newark, NJ, with the murder, kidnapping, and other offenses related to the shooting death of Quadree Burch, 27, whose body was discovered in a wooded area off Interstate 80 in Allamuchy Township, Warren County.

Detectives from the New Jersey State Police Major Crime North Unit identified the victim as Burch, who was reported missing on August 9, 2022. A subsequent 5-month investigation led to the arrest of Manns, Dixon, and Rios-Figueroa.

It is alleged that the suspects kidnapped Burch on August 7, 2022, drove him to Allamuchy Township, and shot and killed him on the side of Interstate 80.

All three suspects face multiple charges, including felony murder, murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and kidnapping. The case is being investigated by multiple law enforcement agencies and prosecuted by the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office. The accused are considered innocent until proven guilty.
