Rochester Police issue amber alert for missing child, mother

ROCHESTER, NY – Police in Rochester issued an amber alert for a missing 4-year-old boy who is feared to have been abducted along with his mother.

“The Rochester Police Department has activated the New York State AMBER Alert and is investigating a child abduction that occurred at 170 Fulton Avenue, in Rochester, NY at about 1:30 AM on 3/25/2023,” the alert read.

The child, Michael Williams III is a Black male, approximately four years and 10 months old, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 3 feet 3 inches and weighs about 80 pounds. Michael was last seen wearing a Paw Patrol t-shirt, gray and black pajama pants.

“The child and mother were taken under circumstances that lead police to believe that they are in imminent danger of serious harm and/or death,” the Rochester Police Department reported.

Anyone with any information on this abduction is asked to call the Rochester Police Department at (866)N Y S-AMBER or dial 911 to provide information on a report or sighting.
