Instant lottery ticket worth $50,000 sold in Toms River

TOMS RIVER, NJ – A $51,107 jackpot winning ticket was reportedly sold at the Silverton Pharmacy in Toms River this week. The New Jersey Lottery Commission said the lucky winning ticket was sold in the $10 Jersey Jackpot progressive instant lottery game.

Silverton Pharmacy, the beloved local pharmacy serving the northeast Toms River area for decades, will also receive a cash bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Years ago, the pharmacy also served as the local post office for residents at their old location across the street.

According to the New Jersey Lottery, Fast Play Progressive tickets are sold at any retailer and offer a fast way for players to see if their ticket is a lucky winner. The winning ticket was sold at Silverton Pharmacy, 1824 Hooper Ave., Toms River in Ocean County.
