Man Injured In Northeast D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A man was shot Saturday morning in Northeast D.C. The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating the shooting.

Shortly before 11 am, police arrived at the 100 Block of U Street to investigate a shooting report. At the location, police found the victim suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspect’s vehicle. If you have any information about this incident or recognize the suspect, please take no action but call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. This case remains under investigation.
