One dead in Colesville crash

COLESVILLE, MD – The Montgomery County Department of Police – Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Saturday, in Colesville

. A 2012 Honda Pilot crossed the center line and collided with a 2019 Honda Pilot, resulting in the death of 66-year-old Altai Khaltar of Derwood. A third vehicle, a 2019 Nissan Rogue, sustained minor damages from debris caused by the collision, but the driver was not injured. The driver of the 2019 Honda Pilot was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
