Two Shot One Dead In Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Two men were shot and one died last night in Southeast D.C. The incident happened at the 100 block of Xenia Street.

Just after 9 pm, officers from the D.C. Metro Police Department arrived at the location to investigate a shooting report. Police found both men suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The identity of the victims and the condition of the injured victim have not been released at this time.

Police tweeted, “Suspect Lookout is for a male wearing a red hoodie and black jeans last seen running towards Oxon run park.”
