Arson Suspect at Large Following Dollar Tree Store Fires in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – During March 2023, two fires were reported at the Dollar Tree store located at 6101 Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia. The first fire, which occurred on March 9, 2023, involved a dumpster outside the store. The second fire took place on March 12, 2023, and resulted in the complete destruction of the store. Authorities are now searching for the individual responsible for the dumpster fire, as they believe the person may be connected to both incidents.

The ATF City Wide Arson Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person responsible for the dumpster fire. Video footage of the suspect can be viewed on the Philadelphia Police YouTube Channel or at http://phillypolice.com/news. Anyone with information about the crime or the suspect is urged not to approach the individual, but to contact 911 immediately.
