Four teens among six arrested for knifepoint NYC subway train robbery

NEW YORK, NY – Yesterday, six individuals, including four teenagers and two adults, were arrested and charged in connection with a robbery that occurred on a southbound 1 train near 7th Avenue and West 34 Street. The suspects allegedly demanded property from two victims, using a kitchen knife and switchblade as weapons. The individuals fled the scene at the 28th Street station with the male victim’s wallet and cellphone. The female victim was treated on the scene for pain to her face.

The charges include robbery and criminal possession of a weapon. The NYPD is asking anyone with additional information regarding this incident to call the Crime Stoppers Hotline. All calls are strictly confidential, and any information provided could aid in the ongoing investigation.
