Help NYPD Identify Suspects in Church Vandalism Incident

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is requesting the public’s help in identifying three individuals connected to a criminal mischief incident at Holy Family Church, located at 175-20 74 Avenue. On Thursday, March 23, 2023, at around 10:04 PM, the suspects reportedly smashed and broke a concrete angel statue, causing an estimated $500 in property damage.

The Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident, given the targeted nature of the property damage. The suspects are described as three males, approximately 15 to 17 years old. Surveillance video and photos depicting the male individuals have just been obtained from the incident location and are available at the DCPI.
