Staten Island man arrested for groping teen on MTA bus

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department announced that a 22-year-old Staten Island man, Almighty Bethea, has been arrested yesterday, and charged in connection with a forcible touching incident. The incident occurred within the confines of the 121 Precinct on Thursday, around 10:15 AM.

A 19-year-old female victim reported that while boarding the S59 MTA bus at the intersection of Monsey Place and Richmond Avenue, an unknown male individual grabbed her buttocks without her consent. The suspect then fled the scene on foot, heading eastbound on Forest Avenue. There were no reported injuries during the incident.

Bethea now faces charges of forcible touching and sexual abuse. The NYPD urges anyone with additional information about this incident or the suspect to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline. All calls are strictly confidential, and any information provided could aid in the ongoing investigation.
