Serial Thief Targets Multiple T-Mobile Stores Across New York City

NEW YORK CITY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual involved in a string of grand larcenies across multiple T-Mobile stores within the 6, 9, 13, MTS, MTN, 66, 70, 83, and 84 precincts. The unidentified male suspect has stolen a variety of Apple and Samsung products, totaling over $15,000 in value, with no reported injuries in any of the incidents.

The crime spree began on February 14, 2023, when the individual forcibly removed two Apple watches worth $1,299 from a T-Mobile store on 783 Broadway. The most recent incident took place on March 18, 2023, where the suspect stole three Samsung watches, valued at $1,017, from a T-Mobile store located at 30 East 14 Street.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, believed to be in his early 20s. Surveillance photos from the incidents are available through the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers.
