Florida man shot and killed in Queens

A 23-year-old man who was shot and killed in Queens Saturday morning has been identified as North Lauderdale resident Jevaughn Jeminson.

The incident took place in the early morning hours, at around 2:07 a.m. According to police reports, the NYPD received a 911 call regarding a male shot in the area of Selover Road and Merrick Boulevard, within the limits of the 113th Precinct.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found Jeminson lying on the ground in front of 126-19 Merrick Boulevard, unconscious and unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) immediately transported him to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

The police have not made any arrests yet, and the investigation remains ongoing. The authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the police immediately.
