Man charged for assault during domestic dispute

EAST PETERSBURG, PA – A tense situation unfolded on Thursday, when Northern Lancaster County Regional Police were dispatched to a reported domestic disturbance in the area of Graystone Rd / Hollow Dr. Upon arrival, officers encountered Mason Andrew Kranch, 24, of East Petersburg.

Through their investigation, police determined that Kranch had been involved in a domestic altercation with his lover, who had visible injuries allegedly caused by Kranch. As a result, Kranch was arrested and transported to NLCRPD for processing. He was later taken to Lancaster County Prison for central arraignment.

Kranch now faces charges of simple assault and harassment, in violation of Title 18, Section 2701 A1 and 2709 (A) (1) of the PA Crimes Code. The case has been filed in front of MDJ Chudzik. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, and Kranch is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
