Carlisle Man Arrested for Domestic Violence Incident

CARLISLE, PA – On Friday, at approximately 10:55 PM, the Carlisle Police were dispatched to an address in the first block of E Pomfret St for a reported physical domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers conducted an investigation and determined that the accused, Michael S. Shearer, had assaulted the victim and reporting party.

Michael S. Shearer allegedly punched and pulled the hair of the victim, causing minor injuries. Officers took Shearer into custody and transported him to the Cumberland County Booking Center to await arraignment. He has been charged with Simple Assault Domestic Violence and Harassment.

Shearer is facing one count of Simple Assault (M2) and one count of Harassment. The incident took place at the 1st Block E Pomfret St, Carlisle, PA 17013.
