D.C. Police Need Help Identifying Burglary And Assault Suspect Caught On Camera

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Sexual Assault Unit of the Metropolitan Police Department is asking for help identifying a suspect involved in Burglary and Assault with a Dangerous Weapon in Northeast D.C. This incident occurred on Thursday evening at the 3000 block of Pineview Court.

At the location provided, the suspect managed to enter an unoccupied residence shortly before 8 pm. Upon the victim’s return, the suspect pulled out a knife, threatened and physically assaulted the victim, and made inappropriate sexual remarks. The victim managed to escape, and the suspect left the scene.

Police describe the suspect as “a Black male, mid-’20s, skinny build, short black hair, and a dark complexion. The suspect was last seen wearing black Adidas pants with three white stripes down each leg and a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.”
