Fatal Shooting at Aqua Lounge in Wilkes-Barre, PA Under Investigation

WILKES-BARRE, PA – A fatal shooting occurred yesterday at the Aqua Lounge on 369 S Main Street, leaving one man dead. According to the initial investigation, the incident began as a disturbance inside the establishment. The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, continued the altercation outside the lounge, where shots were fired, and he was struck by gunfire.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital for further treatment, where he was later pronounced deceased. The Pennsylvania State Police’s FSU Unit Wilkes-Barre Barracks secured and processed the scene. The Wilkes-Barre Police Detective Division is working closely with the state police in the ongoing investigation.
