Transgender Woman Shot to Death in Atlanta Apartment Complex

ATLANTA, GA – The Fulton County Medical Examiner identified a woman shot to death at an apartment complex in southwest Atlanta on Tuesday morning. Atlanta Police responded to a person down call at 415 Fairburn Avenue SW around 4:20 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found the 37-year-old transgender woman deceased.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward. The incident highlights the ongoing issue of violence against transgender individuals, who often face discrimination and targeted attacks.

Authorities are working to bring the perpetrator to justice and ensure the safety of all community members.
