NEW YORK, NY – Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg, Jr. announced today that Davis Lange, 26, was found guilty of all charges by a New York State Supreme Court jury in a rape case involving a 23-year-old woman.

Lange was convicted on one count each of Rape in the Third Degree, Attempted Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree, Attempted Assault in the Third Degree, and Attempted Forcible Touching. He will be sentenced on June 5, 2023.

The survivor, who had known and trusted Lange for two years, visited his West Village apartment on November 10, 2020.

Despite her repeated refusal of his sexual advances, Lange assaulted and raped her. District Attorney Bragg praised the survivor’s courage in coming forward, leading to Lange’s conviction.
