21-Year-Old Arrested and Charged for Murder in NYC

NEW YORK CITY, NY – Today, the New York City Police Department announced the arrest of 21-year-old Messiah Nantwi in connection with a homicide in the 28th Precinct. Nantwi has been charged with Murder and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.

The incident occurred on Sunday when Nantwi allegedly engaged in a dispute with 36-year-old victim Brandon Brunson inside 304 Lenox Avenue.

Nantwi is accused of displaying a firearm and shooting Brunson twice in the head, leading to his death. He then fled the scene.
