Bronx Subway Shooting Leaves One Teen Dead, Another Injured

NEW YORK, NY – A tragic incident unfolded on Monday, when police responded to a 911 call reporting a male shot at the Burke Avenue and White Plains Road subway station in the Bronx. Upon arrival, officers found two 17-year-old males with gunshot wounds.

One victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his head, arm, and shoulder, while the other victim sustained a gunshot wound to his hip.

Both victims were transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi. The first victim was pronounced deceased, while the second victim remains in stable condition.

The NYPD is actively investigating the incident and urges anyone with information to come forward.
