D.C. Armed Robbery Suspect Caught On Camera

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C., Metro Police Department is asking for help identifying a suspect involved in an Armed Robbery on April 5th. The incident happened at the 1500 block of Alabama Avenue in Southeast D.C.

Just before 9 am, a suspect entered a business at the location and proceeded to seize a pair of scissors from the counter. The individual then demanded money from the cash register, took the cash, and quickly departed from the scene.

A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspect. If you have any information about this incident or recognize the suspect, please take no action but call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. This case remains under investigation.
