NYPD searching for Bronx burglary suspect

NEW YORK, NY – The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying the whereabouts of a suspect involved in a burglary that occurred in the Bronx on Wednesday.

The suspect approached a residence near Webb Avenue and Eames Place, jumped over a fence surrounding the property, and entered the home through an unlocked basement door. Once inside, the suspect removed approximately $200 in cash, car keys, and $1,175 in tools before being discovered by a 35-year-old female resident.

The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction upon being discovered, leaving the resident shaken but uninjured.
